Lower Vert Woods is a beautiful mixed woodland in East Sussex, close to the village of Laughton (6 miles from Lewes). The woods are host to rare butterflies, owls, buzzards and wild orchids. After 40 years of neglect they are being managed and returned to native hardwoods. It is a great place to hang out, learn new skills, absorb lots of cool information, and make super things with your hands. Check us out on our Facebook Page –‘Vert Woods Work Days’.
